Find your way with guided tours

Two short tours, at the right moments

Getting started welcomes you when you first enter the app. It explains the workspace on the left, your project, sources, generation settings, and where to find help. When a project is open, it includes the Sources controls.

Review & refine is offered once you have steps to work with, including after your first generation. It covers reading the process, editing a step, adding fields, using Media and the AI Assistant, and sharing reviewed instructions.

A tour waits until the beta-features announcement is closed, and while generation or another app dialog is active. If you already have steps when you first use tours, you may be offered Review & refine after the first walkthrough.

The highlighted area is the real app. Follow the guide while keeping your project in view.

Learn by trying the controls

   Choose Let’s go to begin. Read the short explanation beside the highlighted control.

   Use Next and Back to move through the tour, or select a progress segment to revisit a point.

   Choose an action such as Open settings, Open this step, Explore Media, or Explore AI Assistant to try the real tool. The guide shrinks into a Continue tour bar.

   Explore the tool, then choose Continue tour to return to the walkthrough.

   Press Escape or choose Close tour to leave at any time. Not now skips the introduction for the current browser session.

Use the second tour to improve a draft

Start by checking the step order against the sources. Open a step to refine its title and description, then inspect its fields. A field should capture a useful result, not add unnecessary work.

The Media stop helps you find images, clips, and annotation tools. The AI Assistant stop shows where to improve or translate selected steps or the whole instruction. Specify the target language, preserve part numbers and units, and review the updated steps. The Share stop explains where to find viewing links and exports. Opening the sharing menu does not publish the project.

The second tour walks through editing and fields before introducing Media, AI assistance, and sharing.

Finish once, or keep the reminders

If you uncheck the checkbox, the tour can be offered in another browser session. Closing a tour early does not save a permanent dismissal.

If saving fails, the tour stays open with a recovery message. Choose Finish again to retry, or close for now and save the preference next time.

   At the end of a tour, Don’t show this tour automatically again is checked by default. Leave it checked to stop automatic reminders for this tour.

   Choose Finish to save the preference to your account.

   Repeat separately for the other tour. Turning off Getting started does not turn off Review & refine.

Choose Finish to stop automatic reminders for this tour, or uncheck the box to keep them.

Replay either tour from the three-dot menu

Tour App also includes Try a sample project. Use it to practice with supplied material instead of uploading your own.

   Open the three-dot account menu in the app header.

   Expand Tour App.

   Choose Getting started or Review & refine. Replay remains available even if you turned off the automatic welcome.

   If Review & refine is disabled, open a project with steps or generate your first draft.
