What you’ll achieve

Your colleagues can find the workspace and work on its projects.

Before you begin

  • An existing workspace.
  • Owner access for invitations and membership changes.
On this page

Open workspace settings

Find the workspace in the sidebar and choose its settings gear. The General area shows workspace details and members. Owners can rename the workspace and manage membership.

A missing owner control usually indicates your role, not a broken screen. Ask the workspace owner to make the change. Platform administrator access is separate from workspace ownership.

Invite a colleague

  1. 1

    In General, find Invite Members.

  2. 2

Enter the colleague’s email in Invite by Email and choose Invite, or use Generate Invitation Link when a link is the appropriate method.

  3. 3

Send invitations only to the intended people. Confirm that the workspace has enough seats.

  4. 4

Ask the colleague to complete the invitation flow, then check that they appear in Members.

Use the same account email throughout the invitation and sign-in flow. Signing in with another account can make the expected workspace appear missing.

Review membership over time

Owners can remove members using the control beside their entry. Verify the person and workspace before confirming. Removing someone from the workspace does not recall files they already downloaded.

For a full account-access problem or an administrator-role change, contact a platform administrator. Workspace membership and global administration are different permissions.

Create a separate workspace when needed

Use New Workspace when a team needs a separate project collection and membership boundary. Give it a name people can recognize.

Check the workspace’s license and limits before moving ongoing work into it. A new workspace is not automatically entitled to the same capacity or beta policies as an existing one.
