What you’ll achieve

You can identify a limit and take the appropriate recovery action.

Before you begin

  • Access to Workspace settings.
On this page

Check the workspace license

  1. 1

Open the workspace settings gear and select License.

  2. 2

Review its status, validity, seats, project capacity, storage, and generation usage where shown.

  3. 3

Check the displayed reset date for monthly usage.

  4. 4

Ask the workspace owner or administrator about a limit you cannot change.

Read the allowance for the action you need. These are example trial values, not a promise of plan capacity.

Different limits need different actions

LimitWhat to do
SeatsReview membership or request more seats before inviting another person.
ProjectsRemove unused projects appropriately or request more project capacity.
StorageReview unneeded source files and media, or request additional storage.
Step generationsWait for the displayed monthly reset or ask for an allowance change.
AI media generationsCheck the separate media allowance; reuse existing visuals or request more capacity.
Expired or inactive licenseAsk the owner or administrator to review the license.

Read the reset date, not the calendar month

Monthly generation usage follows the workspace’s license cycle. The displayed next reset date is the relevant one; do not assume all counters reset on the first day of the month.

Step generation and media generation are counted separately. A remaining text allowance does not mean you can create another image.

Avoid wasting capacity

If a limit message seems inconsistent with the license screen, refresh the workspace and include both the displayed allowance and the attempted action when contacting support.

  • Resolve source readiness before generating.
  • Review and refine an existing draft when a full regeneration is unnecessary.
  • Reuse a good image instead of creating nearly identical versions.
  • Check the current job status before retrying a request that appears slow.
